Surrounded by idiots

 Author: thomas erikson
Rating: 3 out of 5 stars
This is a book I decided to read during quarantine. This book was an interesting read and is also well structured. The book is based on Marston theory of behaviour which is then further developed by the author. The 4 behaviour personalities are: red, yellow, green and blue.
As majority of the population are green, I also self-identify as a green. Also, majority of people also have two colours.
Briefly, reds are quick, fiesty, dont like repetition or routine and you would tend to find your boss to be a red. Yellows are happy go lucky, dont listen though they think they do and are very creative. Greens are neutral, great listeners, can be whiny and laid back. Blues like routine, are very analytical but also critical.
This book also talks about anger and stress management and how these behaviour personalities deal with the anger and stress. There is a history of this behaviour personality dating back to the Aztecs and Greeks. There is a quiz in this book which tests what you have read in this book.

On the other hand, Jack who suffers from autism severely, relies on his routine which is to go to college, can communicate very little verbally by using repeated phrases (echolalia) and has picky eating habits. He hasnt gone through the same social spindle as his brother as he hasnt faced bullying even though outsiders do feel his stimming is rather odd.  Both brothers share the same love for tra...
